THEN&NOW
Those who really knew us, knew us well,
those who didn't. .. oh, well.
Many thanks to those who stayed awhile,
everlasting memories can still make us smile.
Experiences shared at the start of our prime,
impress on us and stand through time.
Friendship is the true treasure some gain from this place.
May be no big lesson learned from our credit chase.
The varied relationships to be exact,
for some the core of our growth as a matter of fact.
Some might look back and realize,
after having pondered and analyzed,
that the true test was not ...Expand for more
on paper as it might appear,
but to remain true to ones self,
and go on from there.
While some might have learned right out of the gate,
others may just see now. .. it's never too late.
The power of now is a wonderful thing,
each day a fresh start no need for waiting on Spring.
Some led by the heart, Some live in their minds,
a customized balance a challenge to find.
As simple and clear cut as this may all seem,
for some walking the walk is another thing.
With all due respect, in wisdom I say,
Operate from the heart, forgive and give away.
