Jane's Story
Well, I’m still from Kaukauna, And remain single. My schools include (of course) Kaukauna High School. After that: UWM & Milwaukee Area Technical College (RN). And in the late ‘80s I took more classes while living in San Diego.
I had the pleasure of working in several states —for pay. Even better was my opportunity to volunteer as an ER RN for 5 months of 1983 months on the island St. Lucia, West Indies.
I retired from nursing in 2007.
Some of my old favorite books include Trinity by Leon Uris, Centennial, Five Smooth Stones.
Fave movies include The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Monty Python & the Holy Grail, The King's Speech, The Gods Must Be Crazy.
Fave TV shows list is topped by Grace and Frankie!
Some of my favorite quotes are:

in Kaukauna from 6/2005 until selling the old Driessen Homestead at 119 Doty St 10/2016 after Dad died.
Moved to Wausau then and have lived here for past few years.
But! Im planning my return to the Valley in Sept because I miss my very cool, nearly lifelong friends.
I’ve already found my next apt—in Neenah, of all places. Its building is expected to be completed by August.
Until then, I’m happily living in the old Wausau East High School. My apt is on the 3rd floor (previously was a math classroom) and it’s located at nearly the exact spot Millie Feller spent 3 years trying to teach me her math magic. I have a chalkboard just where Millie’s had been and can almost see her standing there writing math problems for us classmates to solve.
I must admit to liking being a renter more than being a home owner! Something not working? Call management and, Voila! It’s repaired or replaced using someone else’s $$. Can’t beat that. No yard work or home maintenance. Pure bliss.
