Jane's Story
Hi all you sixties survivors.
I spent over twenty years driving commercial vehicles, from semi-tractor trailers to tour buses, trolleys, school buses and just about everything you can think of. I loved it and got to see a lot of the great usa.
i managed to raise four great kids. they are all grown and i now have seven grandkids to spoil.
I can't say I'm thrilled with how much the cape has changed. Its just not the same. even the high school is so much bigger. I dont know how the kids make it to class on time. its so big!
all four of my children graduated from
Barnstable high. my oldest has a masters degree in Hospital administration and is an xray technician at cape cod hospital.He also spent ten years in the navy.

the US Army for four years.
my youngest daughter has been a banker for over ten years. She started in high school and now is a bank rep and works in osterville. she has a wonderful little boy almost seven years old.
My youngest son, works for ESPN in Los Angeles, CA. He is the Director of Commercial ops, works in the studio control room and often goes to sports events around the country. He too has a degree in engineering and sports management. He is also six foot six and a half inches tall. I hug him around his waist. He now lives in LA and loves it.
In all I have eleven grandchildren, I have two grown step children.
Between all the kids and grandkids, I'm broke but i dont mind. I now work part time at the Hyannis stop and Shop and enjoy running into many alumni from Barnstable. I just wish I knew who they all were. Ok, so I forget sometimes. big deal.
