Life
I spent 24 years living outside of California. Have made it "home" only for major happenings, or to pick up the kids. I spent 11 years in the Army and another 13 years as an army wife traveling the world. Now that my husband has retired, my son has picked up the banner and is serving in Iraq. my boot straps. His first permanent station is also Ft Hood, as mine was.
Even though the hubby has retired, the seperations continue. He is a goverment contractor overseas.
My daughter Barbara will be working on the archological dig at Jamestown (VA) this summer. She was accepted into the field study program at UVH.
