New direction for me! Graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, CA on April 15, 2005! Totally, happy to have been able to study my passion! Look forward to doing some part time work with gems after the Holidays! Anyone else in Gems??? Would love to hear from all who touch base here!
April 2006-Working on a business plan for my new venture as a Professional Jewelry Advocate. My business will be personalized shopping for high end jewelry here in the mid-coastal area of San Diego county. The plan is to visit clients in their home, do a personal profile, research for the "perfect gift" and so on. I can't wait. Peter is finishing his MBA and his final project is a business plan which so well coordinates with my venture. Tough work but really interesting! What are you up to???

woman who was a retired Pan Am flight attendant. She suggested I try that career. I graduated from AAL training on March 21, 1972 and stayed the course until 1997 when I needed to resign due to medical issues. Now I am looking forward to my new schooling in October at the Gemology Institute of America in Carlsbad, CA (15 minutes from my home) where I will try to acquire my Graduate Gemologist Degree. That's it for now!

Workplace
I worked for Dr. Peter Myers as his first dental assistant following my sophomore year in college.(2 years) In 1970, I worked for two dentists, Drs. Newton and Lavin in Trenton until January 1972 when I left for training at the Flight Attendant Academy in Euless, Texas for American Airlines. I graduated 3-21-72. I was hijacked on 6-23-72, Martin McNally jumped out the back of our 727-200 stretch after acquiring parachutes and money from AA. Trial in St. Louis in Dec.72. Great stories to tell!!!
