Life
Middle age is awkward... one looks too old to act as young as one feels...but I wouldn't go back. Watching the young folks "find themselves" is exhausting! I am, of all things, a middle school teacher for Special Ed kids, I do hospice volunteer work and I'm an unaccomplished Buddhist. I've been married to my beloved for over 20 years, have three children (almost all grown!, two grandchildren, two cats, one lizard and one tortoise. n the middle of my senior year -- so I'm hoping that if there is a 1967 class reunion someone will remember to invite me...I'd love to see some of you folks!
2009 update: I'm now at Northwood High School...my kids are all grown and out of the nest BUT my daughter, husband, my two grandchildren and their dog will be living with us while they get settled back home (California). I still have cats and the tortoise... I've lost my lizard friend, and my little feline soulmate, SamIAm. I'm up to three tattoos and am still as silly and inappropriate as I always was....sometimes I wonder if I'll ever grow up.
