Jane's Story
I am one of the "Burkhalter Twins"!
After AHS graduation I went to the University of Texas as did our car pool
group of Maline Gilbert, Lynn Lyles, Barbara Leonard, Mary Morris, and sister Jean. We stay in touch with many of our AHS friends frequently.
I married David Cornell from San Antonio in 1960 and divorced after 34 years. I never thought that would happen! We have two great kids, Catherine and David II and 4 grandchildren. What joy the parents and grandchildren bring to my life!!
I spend 6-7 months in Sun Lakes AZ playing tennis, bridge, photographing, bicycling, swimming and...enjoying RETIR...Expand for more
EMENT. I spent 23 years in Real Estate in Estes Park CO and retired this past year.
I return to Estes Park CO usually in early June and stay until late fall and then come back to Sun Lakes.
I have a minature,long hair daschund named Lily who is my 5th and best daschund!!
My favorite teachers were Mrs. Gray (English), Ms. Rosenberg (Alg.), Mrs. Boone (Bio), Mrs. Wiser (Che). I wanted to be a doctor, but my father said that "nice girls didn't do that.." so I became a teacher and loved it.
I'm happy, blessed with good health and enjoy numerous friends in Colorado , TX , and in Arizona. Come see me!!
