Now, I am serving in hospital chaplaincy which is a special privilege as I am present with the dying. Though I grew up at 43rd Avenue Presbyterian Church, God brought me into the Baptist fold where I became one of the few ordained preaching females. It's been quite a journey. As I have heard many a story over the years from others of unhappy times in their youth, I think of the blessing of growing up in Gary and the wonderful foundation provided by family, friends, neighbors, church, and Lew Wallace School. Probably, you reading this will know that you were a part, and I am so glad. May God bless you. Jane
