Jane's Story

Life In the past 12 years, I have gotten a divorce, moved six times, and married my high school sweetheart, Jon Batten. Since we got married, Jon and I have moved five times and now live in Summerville, SC. In Y2K, we had our younger DD, Katie, and two months later adopted our older DD, Molly, who was 20 months old then. I was a SAHM until just recently, when I started my new career in real estate. part-time at the office and part-time at home. I still have my Mary Kay business and being a mother is still my main identity. My life's ambition has always been to be a mother and I like that my work is flexible enough to be home when my girls are home. Life is good. I'm married to the man of my dreams and I have a beautiful home with two sweet, smart, beautiful little girls. Who could ask for anything more?
