Janeene's Story
Life
My husband,Ted,is a Lutheran Minster in Naples CA (Long Beach area). We were married in 1961 and have lived in Seal Beach since 1969.
I was an active RN for 40 years. I'm "retired" from nursing, but I continue to have the joy of being Director of Music at our church. We have 2 grown children Andrea and Mark - both live in Anchorage, Alaska, where we plan to retire next year (2005)! It will be nice to have changing seasons again. California has been a great place to live, but there are too many people, not to mention the crazy traffic. I attended Carthage for a B.S.degree after receiving my R.N..
Ted (Spike)Conter & I were married Nov.1961. Ted's been a Lutheran Minister since 1965. I worked 40 years, now "retired" but remain Director of Music at our church in Naples,CA .We have lived in Seal Beach, CA since 1969. We have 2 children Andrea and Mark who both live in Alaska. We hope to retire in 2005 and move to Anchorage, Alaska to be near our kids and to once again enjoy the different seasons. California has been a great place to live but it is a mass of people and cars.
