Janelle's Story
Life
I attended OBU 1967-68. I decided I didn't know what I wanted to do so I did not return to school. I worked at Emsco Electric, downtown on Sheridan and Western where I met my husband, Ron. We were married in March 1972 and have 2 daughters. Mandi, 33 and Angie, 29. Mandi has 1 daughter, Kaleigh 11. She is our only grandchild so far. We lived in OKC until 1990 when we moved to Siloam Springs, AR. where Ronnie's family lives. Ronnie is in commercial construction and Commercial construction was at a standstill in 1990 in OKC but was just beginning to boom in Northwest Arkansas. So here we are. It is a nice place ...Expand for more
to live and raise kids. We live outside of town on 4 acres of wooded property and love it. The wildlife is plentiful .The bigger citites are close so it is the best of two worlds.
I stayed home with the girls until we moved to AR. at which time I started working at DaySpring Greeting Cards and have worked here more than 17 years. It is the largest Christian Gretting Card Co. in the world. There are about 300 employees. I work in a support posititon for the order pullers on the shop floor. Mandi, our oldest daughter also works here so I get to see her everyday. Angie is married and a teacher. We have a good life.
