Janet's Story

Life After high school, I went to William Jewell College (where I met my husband, Dean), and spent my sophomore year in Japan as an exchange student. Following college I went to the University of Michigan Law School and graduated in December 1992. I started at a law firm in Kansas City but moved to Ame...Expand for more
rican Century, a mutual fund company, in 1996, and am now Vice President and Associate General Counsel. My husband is also a lawyer, and has his own law firm in Kansas City. We have two sons, Reilly and Spenser, and like to travel. I still play the cello, in a string quartet and a community orchestra.
