Janet's Story
After graduating HS, I went into the performance industry doing choreography and touring. I hated touring. So I enlisted in the US Air Force where I met my husband, Chris. We got engaged on our first date, and married 5 months later, on 6 March 1982. We celebrated our 26th anniversary this year. We have four children; two girls, two boys. My two oldest (girls) are now married. They have given me three grandchildren, and there is another on the way. My third child (eldest son) is in the US Navy, and my baby boy just graduated High School.

Degree in Business as a means of self-employment. My primary work involves history, and my place in it. I am a genealogist, and write heritage books, though I have written short stories and poems that were published. My children are after me to write a novel, so I'm giving that a try.
I am back in the performance industry again too, serving as a tour manager for a cultural arts group from South Africa. Ironic, isn't it? I left the industry because I hated touring. Well, if you heard this group, you'd understand.
