Janet's Story
Hello eveyone that remembers me as Janet, mouse or other.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that a crazy idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I am a cardiac nurse in a small community hospital. I worked bedside nursing for about 8 years, however, now I am the Charge RN on the unit and have other responsibilities.
My favorite way to relax is at my house on the Chesapeake bay. We are on the water with our own beach and pier. Our neighborhood is awsome reminding me of my days growing up in a close community, only this time I am an adult.
My home in Northern Virginia is the house with all the traditions. This is my year round home.
My husband of 16 years is a pilot at American Airlines. We also have a business...Expand for more
on the side drilling water wells (the airlines are so volitile we have to have a backup).
My son Michael, is married and living outside of Boston with his wife and 2 children. He is in computers and making a good living. This is there first home.
My grandchildren are 3 years old and 2 months old. They are the light of my life. I am either in Boston or Warwick once a month visiting them and my mother and siblings. This seems to be the only time I use my travel benefits lately.
Anyway, I would love to hear from friends. I have no desire to hear from people who hold grudges, live in the past or have nothing nice to say. I swear to God, I have got messages from people about things that I have done or not done over 30 years ago. Please, get over it...
