Janet (JJ)'s Story
I have definately been one to see new places and try different things as the years went by. I did marry Bruce Rosa - and we started life in MD, as that's where I was living with my Aunt and Uncle at the time. Our son was born in DC, and soon we returned to Seattle. Vern (Bruce) became a police officer in Oak Harbor. Our daughter was born there. Never one to stay any one place for long, we moved to the Miami area for a few years. The next stop was a Police Chief position in Missouri - just north of St Louis. We tried KS after that ( my allergies from living beside the river took their toll). r 9 yrs where Vern was again Police Chief. OH OH - bored again. This time we landed in White Salmon, WA along the Columbia River. Next was Ellensburg where Vern returned to school. Another big move -- we landed in GA where we both have stayed even after the divorce. Our son and grandson live in Jacksonville, FL, and our daughter lives with me - all are healthy and well. I now am a blonde (10 yrs now), and have to wear glasses :-(. Proud to have hit the 60yr mark and still enjoying life.
7-2011 Change begins again. Moving this month to Orlando while daughter goes to a tech school. Tehn we hope to head to Jacksonville - all this puts me closer to son and grandson :-)
