Janet's Story
Janet is from Findley Lake, New York. Her schools include Monte Vista High School, North East High School. She later attended California Baptist University (Accounting, Business Administration), Kaplan University (Accounting, Business Administration), Madison Business College (Secretarial Science). More about Janet:"About me? Well, I am multi-faceted, so which "me" will I describe? I can honestly say that I am a happy, lively, God-fearing, God-loving person. My greatest accomplishment(s) so far in my life have been my amazing children, Jason and Traci. They have been the sole purpose in my life, and I am so proud of them. n is a great police officer. He did not enter into this career in order to be "macho" or to expect special treatment. He truly wants to help people--victims and perpetrators alike. His favorite task in an arrest is to counsel and comfort. He's truly a "light" in the darkness. Traci is a school teacher in a society where teachers are not always given the respect and pay that they deserve, given the level of responsibility that they carry. Traci chose this profession because of her love for children and for the importance of educating our next generations of leaders.
I also have the most incredible son-in-law and daughter-in-law. They love my kids just as I have loved them.
Traci and Justin blessed us with Brayden, our first grandchild. They are amazing parents, as is evidenced by the happiness and security displayed in Brayden. I love my time spent with that little man. Parenthood is wonderful, but GRANDparenthood is beyond fun! Can't wait for more.
Life has thrown me some curves. But I am honest enough to admit the majority of these, I have brought on myself. I am human and I make mistakes, but I believe in a forgiving God and am able to forgive myself and others. I wake up every single day with a smile on my face and praise the Lord for giving me just one more day.
I desperately miss my family who all live on another coast. My parents, my sisters, my nieces and nephews. I hope they all know how much I love them.
