Currently, I am living in Folsom, Pennsylvania and working in the Crozer Keystone Healthcare System. I am the mother of 5 great kids, 3 girls and 2 boys. My two oldest are married and I have one grandchild. This past November 9, 2012, my husband Tom passed away after battling Type I Diabetes for 43 years. Tom had a passion for giving and for the past 30 years organized and ran a Toys for Tots benefit. All proceeds go to a local family in need and the toys to our local marine base for the needy children in our area. Unfortunately, he did not live to see his last Toys for Tots, having died the day before the benefit. My children, in their grief, rallied and ran the benefit in his place. To honor him, we have renamed it "Tommy's Toys." My children and I will be hosting it in the fall with a date to be determined. The four years I spent at O'Hara were awesome, I have such great memories of happy times...football, baseball, tennis, basketball, hockey and rugby games just to name a few! The dances in the cafeteria were fun as well. Great times with Student Council and all the activities involved with serving O'Hara and the community.
