Life Summing up the last 40 yrs is going to be quite a challenge but I will certainly give it a try. WOW! I was married in 67' and divorced 14 yrs later after having 3 adorable girls, living in my dream house and then moving aboard a sailboat (with 3 kids? yep.) for 3yrs and then called it quits on the sailboat, marriage and alcoholic husb. We had some great times and some nightmares, but such is life. I praise God for my three daughters and the strength to grow from a scared child to a strong woman, mother and provider for my kids. My life has been terrifying, wonderful, challenging and strengthening and I thank God everyday for it all. Tom foster and I were married in '88 after our '86 reunion and now I have 7 kids (6 girls and 1 boy). there were many days I wondered why God added 3 more girls and not 3 boys. (that was the challenging part. 6 girls, close in ages, pre-teen and teenage female mood swings and tears all at the same time. But we all made it and I am still alive, just with a little less sanity than I used to have. The best part now is all the grandkids. Tom and I have 10 grandkids and 1 due in Feb.07, another due July 07, and 3 of the daughters not married yet - adding potential for a bunch more grandkids in the future. AIN'T LIFE GRAND. I love them all. I have learned to ski, sail, hike, race jeeps, fly airplanes (I just never learned how to land or take off, but I can fly once I am up there.) AND I have had a managerie of pets (dogs,cats, birds), garden, quilt and love antiques. SO< > my latest adventure?- I am now riding horses. After spending a lifetime afraid to get on one of those big beasts I decided to overcome my fear and started taking riding lessons last summer and now try to ride almost everyday.
