I have been meaning to update my profile for years, but never seem to find the time to do it. I have lived in a Minneapolis suburb for the last 38 years. Minnesota is so different from California. We have everything culturally here that there is in L.A., but it's just on a smaller scale. I love the season changes! For those of you who I saw at our 40 year class reunion, what most of you didn't know was that I was right in the middle of radiation treatments for breast cancer. Because I was the 3rd generation to have it in my family, they decided to give me a heavier dose of radiation. Because of this, I ended up with Leukemia (AML with a sub-type of APL) the following Spring and spent almost 4 weeks in the hospital and out on medical leave for 8 months. This was in 2010 which was a really rough year for my family as my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer just before I started my 3 round of remission treatment and also cronic renal failure - stage 3..
