Until 2/1/22, I worked for the state Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection. Along with four years at the state labor department, that made me a 30-year state employee when I finally retired. attorney. I have 2 adult children and, like me, my journalist husband is now retired. I am active in my church and numerous conservation-outdoor recreation organizations. I started at Hamden High and then left the area to live with my father. I attended St. Mary's in New Haven after returning to Connecticut.
