Janet's Story

Sigh. Daughter disinvited me to her graduation from Smith College. She has since graduated from The Sorbonne with a master's degree in Renaissance History. I wasn't invited to THAT graduation, either. But ... I'm still alive !!! omG ... I'm still alive ... still not divorced ... still jobless ... but still alive ... everybody pray that I get invited to my daughter's May 2013 graduation from Smith College in Northampton, Mass. - she and her father are STILL mad at me for throwing over my job at the Hartford C...Expand for more
ourant in 2009 and being inordinately joyful about it ... and after emergency abdominal surgery exactly a month AFTER that cataclysmic Mardi Gras Massacre ... I felt so good ... (after being mysteriously ill for so long) ... they didn't recognize me ... my own husband and child!!! I was TOO happy ... how dare I ... how dare I act like myself? How dare I laugh when they were suffering such fiscal anxiety? The 1969 Venture nailed it ... I am "bubbly and unpredictable" ... sigh ... oh well ... life goes on ..
