I truly believe there are no demoninations in heaven! James' family is all Catholic, mine Methodist/Lutheran and my brother married into a Baptist family. Believe me, I have seen and heard how religion can bring us together or tear us apart and that is so sad. James and I met in H.S. and started hanging out in FCA and later started dating after a Black Mountain retreat. church almost every Sunday. No questions asked, you just knew you were going. In college, we continued going to church almost every Sunday to either the Catholic church or the Methodist church. We built our relationship centered around Christ. After we got married, we went to several churches before deciding on one. We both knew we had to go to church together and we wanted to raise a family in the church. James liked the traditional service which reminded him of his Catholic upbringing and said they were both so similar. I didn't care what denomination we were as long as we went to church together. He graciously decided it would be best for our marriage to join the Methodist church. Our faith has grown tremendously through the years and has helped us through some difficult times. We believe there has to be a greater creater/maker for all this beauty to have happened. If you live a good life and follow the principles, morals, values found in the bible..always repenting of any sin and asking for forgiveness you can't go wrong. I know God is working in our lives and I thank him every day through prayer! God Bless You <3".
