Hi to all who care to read this little note.I want to say that although I didn't officially graduate from Monklands', as I had to move to Toronto, and finished grade 13 there at George Vanier...I have great memories of Monklands'..both for some very special people whom I met there...Patricia Hashim,still being my best friend from those years!!..and others who I'll be looking for soon! Thank you Mrs. Rohr for all the encouragement you gave me ..all the fun we had putting on "The Man Who Came To Dinner"..for giving me the part of "Essie"..what a hoot that was!!..and to see her again at the reunion we had a few years back will remain VIVID and a high point in my life...as I was honored to be able to locate her and both invite and "chauffeur" her to the Delta in my old Lincoln.We purposely drove through the streets of Westmount for the love of conversation and the beauty of the ci...Expand for more
ty!! I will always love her! Check out the reunion photos as I just saw them posted today when I joined!! Thanks!...and then there's Mr. Whyte..whom I hope everyone loves!! When I saw him at the reunion.. I just about fainted with joy!! He gave me so much pleasure with so many musical venues..Riviere Du Loop competition...Paris Ontario..different ensembles of singing groups etc...and a song that he helped me sing well enough to be chosen by Elmer Isler, to be the youngest female voice at that time in The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir...which was the "segway"..God's plan ...for me to meet my future husband..Richard Roberts.....current concertmaster of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra!! I have been blessed with three sons..and without going into more details...I am a very content lady who thanks THE LORD for ALL HIS blessings and provisions..more another day!! God bless you all!!xx
