Janet Marie's Story
I was shy & very quiet in high school. Only my closest friends knew that my dad died when I was in 9th grade & then my mom died a few months later. I tried to hide my sadness. I never wanted anyone to know that I was totally devastated at that time in my life. I was so afraid I would be put in foster care, so I tried not to let too many people know I was orphaned. It was a very sad time in my life, but I don’t think too many people realized why.
I was grateful to have such wonderful friends at Edison. You guys meant everything to me. You might not have known it, but sometimes when I felt life was just too difficult, you would say something silly & brighten my day. You guys never knew how much you impacted my life. Thank you!! When my world around me was falling apart, I cherished my friends who were there for me.

ing son Christian to my profile. He was my miracle baby! The answer to my prayers. He has been everything to me. He is my greatest accomplishment in life and I am very proud of the amazing man he has become!
My entire life, has been filled with very unbelievable life experiences: some good & some bad. I have had several near death experiences & I have had so many unexplainable miracles that I felt I needed to write my story.. I am writing a book about my very strange life. I will definitely mention my dear friends who were there for me when I needed them most.
The reunion falls on my birthday October 14th so I look forward to spending time with my dear friends that will be attending that day! I hope to see you there so I can personally thank you for being there for me back in high school when I needed a little kindness in my life.
