At Hazeltine, I established a career in government contracting which eventually led me, in 1982, to Reston, Virginia, having accepted a contract management position in their computer-based training division. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (with a minor in computer systems), from American University in 1986 and, in 1987, I joined a small, start up division of Sprint Corporation involved in the creation of the internet.
