Janet's Story
1964: A.S., Lasell Jr. Col., now Lasell Univ.
1966: married Tom Hurt who died in 1997 (age 55). We had been divorced.
My life path has taken me to OH, PA, DE and then to NH, where I lived from 1971 to 2006
1972: married Norman Blake.
We have a daughter and a son.
1994: at age 50, I returned to college and FINALLY got a B.G.S. degree in Gender Studies and Wellness from Granite State College.
My work life has included being a lab tech in Brookline, MA., assistant to a surgical onc...Expand for more
ologist at Hartford Hospital, assistant to the Director of Research at Ohio University and later to the President of OU. In NH, I was the manager and chair-side assistant to a dentist, Registrar and Assistant to the Deans at Brewster Academy, And, my last 12 years were spent at Granite State College where I was assistant to four different presidents.
2006: moved to Menifee, CA to escape NH winters.
2022: took a trip down memory lane and visited Bristol!!!! SO MANY CHANGES!!!!!
