Janet's Story
Life
In high school I was Janet Schultz. I went to Lutheran High School West. Gratuated in June 1969. Went to business school for a year and half. I was taking computer courses. I moved from Michigan to Fort Myers, Florida in June 1987, when the company I was working for did away with the position of computer operator that I was for them. I had moved to Florida because I wanted out of the cold weather up north and had a cousin that lived down here. My parents had moved to southern Texas in 1983 and thought that I would move there. y I moved to Florida instead. In 1991 I meet my future husband Steve Hannah. We got married in June 1992, and are still married. We have no children, but have a cat and a dog who are like children to us. We got our first house in 2001. Before that we lived in the apartment that I had moved to when I moved from Michigan to Florida. We survied 2004 hurricane season. Our house did not have any damage done to it. Hurricane Charley hit north of the Fort Myers area. The area it hit was about 45 mins. to and hour drive north of us. I hope we never have a season like the one we had in 2004 ever again.
