Hi everyone! I am currently living in Hampton, VA since 2001 and must admit the weather is so nice here but I do miss Newport. I went to URI after high school and majored in Textiles. I worked in the industry for quite a few years. Have been married to a retired Navy Senior Chief since 1994 - yeah I got a late start in that department! We have no children but I have fun with nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. My husband Andy is the youngest of 11 kids, so there's plenty of relatives! Since his naval retirement, Andy has a second career as a senior analyst working as a contractor for the Navy. I left my last job as a marketing and office manager here in VA to take care of my Mom who was at Village House Nursing Home in Newport with Parkinson's and dementia. I traveled back and forth for 2 years and was so happy to have that time with Mom helping to care for her. Currently we have a small beek...Expand for more
