My name is Janet Wood Fitzgerald. I married David Fitzgerald (1966) 38 years ago. We have lived in San Bernardino, CA, for 35 vears. We didn't move very far from our little Bloomington home town. :-))
We have 2 girls, Amy 33 years old and Katie 32 years old. Amy is a 3rd grade teacher and she and Berto have two boys Aiden 3 1/2 and Noah 16 months. Katie is an Ultra Sound Tech at St. Bernardine's Hospital.
She has a four children, Robert 2 months old, Maggie 2 1/2 yrs. old, Ryan 9 1/2 years old and her beautiful Natalie 15 years old. Being a Grandma is the BEST!

The Fitzgerald's are doing great and enjoying retirement. I am a four time cancer survivor and very thankful. I was diagnoised with breast cancer in 2008 and after a year of treatment I am now am cancer free for two years and feeling very good these days. So I'm on the survivor journey and looking forward to many years of good health. To all my friends, thanks for your thoughts and prayers. That is what helped to get me through the tough days, knowing that you were out there lifting me up. Our life is so good and we are very thankful for each new day. We don't know what tomorrow brings, so we just live today filled with lots of love and laughter and appreciation for all the blessings God has given us. Just remember to stop and smell the roses...it is so worth it!
