Janet's Story
I guess what surprised most at the 30 year reunion was my weight loss. Last they saw me I was 170 lb. heavier.
As far as teachers, I had several I liked but none I felt I "connected" with. I guess the teacher that sticks most in my mind is Ms. Goodman.
I was a wall flower - never did anything wild.
First crush......can't remember.
I hope I am remembered as being friendly and enjoyable to be around. But they probably remember me (if they remember me) as quiet and shy....which I was.
I am truly happy with where I am now. I have a wonderful husband, two fabulous kids, and one grandson that is the love of my life. My health is good, have a good job, back to a church we enjoy attending. Would I change anything.....no.

surprise in my life. A lot of ups and downs, trials and tribulations, but all in all can't complain.
Well if I had one do-over, I would probably attend college. I see the hard work and fun my kids are having in college and envy that I didn't go. But at that time, I don't think girls were encouraged for higher education.....at least in my family they weren't.
I haven't had any weird jobs..... a lot of weird situations at work. I have seen a lot of guys come through our business with very interesting lives. And at times I was very thankful for the quiet, peaceful life I have.
I lived in Barboursville for 18 years and moved to Ohio when I got married........and that is where I have been ever since........soon be 30 years. So I guess I am a buckeye now.
