Janet's Story
I am a retired school teacher, and taught at Spring Valley, WI Schools, Farmington High School, and finished at Hopkin's High School. Bill and I have 4 kids, and 8 grand kids. My family is really lucky in that my folks are still living , and healthy, as my two brothers Bill, and Scott, and their families.
My favorite things, since my birth (practically) are people. I went on a trip with some friends, recently, and was told that I spoke to 30 some strangers in two hours. I just deeply care for people, and don't know why. They're addictive, as is chocolate.
All of my life I have been a loud person. I found out when I was in my 30's that I have Meniere's, a hearing loss, now deafness in one ear. I figure that if I can't hear me, neither can you...it's a brain thing... unfortunately I'm loud.

y 50's I finally got to take lessons...I'm crappy....rats.
My biggie, as of today, is that a friend and I got tickets to the Antique's Road Show in Des Moines, IA...we're leaving tomorrow..am. When I grew up in Richfield, Billy Martin lived behind us. I babysat for his son, and lived in his house when he took over Managing the Twins Farm League, before he did the Twins, then on to the Yankees. My brother, Scott, was given his Yankee uniform. I was hoping to bring that, but Scott says he's uncomfortable with me taking it...bummer. So much with bringing a winner, but it will still be fun.
I've been lucky to be involved with our Reunion planning. I understand many folks want to see each other before our 50th. We're putting out a call to see how many would like a 65th birthday party. It would be fun, if enough kids are interested.
