Janet's Story
Well, it's been a great life! After attending college in Kentucy, I began my life career at Western Electric and stayed there throughout the years they became part of AT&T; and then became Lucent Technologies. I retired there with 33 years service. During that time, I did a lot a traveling coast to coast for my job (love to travel) and was able to pursue my dream of having my own horses, of which I had three, at my place in Ravenna. years in Ravenna, I moved back to Solon to be closer to my aging family. My children graduated from Solon High School, as well. After divorcing, I moved back into my Solon home (which I remodeled) where I grew up. I have two children (boy and girl); and four grandchildren (2 boys and 2 girls), all nearby. During the day, I am a "nanny" to my grandchildren. I am also proud to be one of Solon's finest - Auxiliary Police Officer. Life is GOOD!
