Janet's Story

I was divorced in 2001 after 22 years of marriage. I have 4 children, Matt-27 Brandon-25 Tyler - 22 and Danielle who will be 17 in April. I got remarried in June 06 to Jim. He has 3 children who are Jami-33 Nancy 31 and Derek 10. We have 8 grandchildren between us. I was diagnosed with cancer in October of 2006 and went through treatment til January of 2007. d lots of complications and ended up with major surgery in July of 08. I am cancer free and doing much better now. We moved from Lee's Summit in Aug 08 and moved to a small town of 1800 called hamilton, MO. We live on 136 acres and I now enjoy fishing, morel mushrooming and getting together with family and friends. I am still best friends with Pam Ismert(Farris).
