Well, hello, to my classmates, from sooooooooooo long ago! Really, though, I sure would enjoy hearing from any of you, out there. It's been a very long time! How those years fly by!! I'll start by saying, Bob & I have been married, going on 39yrs. WOW!! Now, those years, sure did fly on by, too, darn fast!! I have the white hair, to prove it! Ha,Ha! We were blessed with five healthy children, and they produced eight healthy grandchildren, for us to love and enjoy! I sure do have fun with all of them. We do alot of laughing, which I love to do! They think, their grandma is goofy! Our oldest son(37)has been in the army for over 17yrs. He's serving in Afghanistan, which he'll be there, for quite sometime, yet. I'd appreciate prayers for him, his unit, and ALL the rest of any military being over there. THANK YOU! Our three daughter's, age(soon-to-be 35),33&31 live locally, except one. She lives down in Louisiana, very near New Orleans. She & her boyfriend lost their house and belongings, from Hurricane Katrina. It was very devastating! His family lost everything, too. They all moved away, except my daughter. Her boyfriend just couldn't part, where he's familiar with. So, they've decided to give it a try, again. So far, so lucky! She's a dental asst., and has been, since just after graduating from high school. My other two daughter's, work locally, in stores. My youngest son, is a roofer, since, soon after graduating from high school. He does some out-of-state jobs. He lives near Mt.Pleasant. So, they all have busy lives. Guess, that's a long enough story about my family. Before I forget, I love to cook, bake, work in my pretty flower beds, watch some soap operas, and other good stuff on TV. I, also enjoy going for walks, which I have to maintain a healthy heart,cause I had a double bypass, over three years ago. My doctor's told me, I was lucky to still have been alive, as I was a walking time bomb! Now, that was a SHOCK!! Bob has dealt with prostate cancer, which was a very trying time, for all of us. We were told, just three months after my heart surgery! We sure didn't expect news, like that! We got through it, just like he did with all the radiation, and seeds implanted. Doctor's told us, he was very close, in having it BAD! He, also has diabetes. So, we...Expand for more
