Janey's Story
My name is Janey Perry (nee Lamb). I left Pittsburgh on July 15, 1964 and never returned to live except for visits to my mother and family. I have one daughter. Her name is Courtney Yvonne Alexander and she's 33 years old. I have two granddaughters ages 9 years and 1 year. They all live in Atlanta, Ga. I worked for several large companies before retiring in 2003 from Consolidated Edison of NYC. I lived in Miami for five years before returning to NY. I spent most of my adult life in NY. My husband and I live in Hawley, PA which is northeastern PA. We have a very nice home...Expand for more
that was built in 2001 and we have a Yorkshire puppy named Lady who is a doll and spoiled rotten. We travel quite a bit and have been on some wonderful trips to all parts of the world. This is the second marriage for both of us and we've been married for nine years. My husband's name is Vernon M. Perry, Jr. and he was born in Norfolk, Va. He has two children ages 43 and 41 respectively and two grandchildren. We try to stay in shape by exercising each day. I personally walk five miles six days per week no matter what country I'm in. It's good medicine. That's about it.
