Janice's Story

Hi there, Thanks for stopping by. Long time no see I'm sure and I hope your life is going well. Do you get to see Roosevelt at all? Gosh, it was soooo long ago! My Mom still lives in the same nieghborhood across from the school and most of my family still live in Hyde Park. Jack and I were married in '69 and we have two daughters and three grandchildren. We went from Hyde Park to Texas, back to Hyde Park on to New Hampshire, down to Maryland and almost to New Jersey. We have gotten to travel alot in the states and I have enjoyed all of it. Our oldest daughter, Tracey, lives in Pa with our grandkids and we see them ALOT! Not under duress.......family is everything. Jennifer, our second daughter lives south of us and is happy with her career and adorable cats. We are so proud of both our daughters! or a ride, Gettysburg Battlefield is our favorite destination. We stay active in the area with some causes we believe in. We ride with the Patriot Guard for funerals, welcome homes and deployment send offs. Standing in a flag line to honor a solder who stood for you is a decission I wish more people would make. We also ride for the cure of breast cancer. It has touched our family and most of our friends. Ride Across Maryland has a website, check it out. If you feel you can, go ahead and send a little something to help make this the best ride across Maryland ever! rideacrossmaryland.org Our youngest grandson has autism and we will be walking for that cause in April at Gettysburg.
