Janice's Story
I've lived 40 years in Indianapolis IN - have seven children (4 mine & 3 step). Married Bob Meyer (my kid's band teacher in Middle School) 34 years ago- we blended our two families, raised them all together, they are all on their own, with jobs, and children. !4 grandkids, 4 1/2 greatgrandkids. Am retired from the Advertising/Media business - do some writing - attempting to write a POSITIVE book about second marriages and blending families. My "pieces" have been published in our local church paper each month as well as in National Presbyterian magazine. Writing reminds me of my days on the Lincoln Log - I still have all copies up in my attic!

here in the USA - this September we'll meet in New Mexico and have a great 8-10 days together!
Still in touch (at Christmas) with Lillian Kloster, Judy Pors, Maralyn Richards, Joanne Mathieu, Sue Farley (can't remember her maiden name).
Am Leader of 18 Stephen Ministers in our church - began the International program six years ago - trainees assist pastors in caring for those in need in the congregation. It's close to a fulltime job - managing the program.
Husband, Bob plays in several bands around town (trombonist) - as well as a brass quartet at Church (one of our sons plays trumpet in that group).
Have traveled a lot since retirement - now limit trips to grandkids events, graduations, weddings, baby arrivals!
