Karl's Story
I started at Arcadia with the Class of "69" I had a great time but I dropped out in October of 1967 to join the military and go to Vietnam. I came from a Military family and I did not think Vietnam would last until I finished with school. So with my mom's approval and signature I went to Vietnam and stayed for 3 years. Since then I have always wished I could reconnect with my class. I have always considered my self part of the class of 69.
I always wanted to be a Soldier when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
My favorite way to relax is hunt, fish and ride my Harley and of course go and fly my Helicopter
My Hero's have always been Military Heros and of course John Wayne
Since leaving the Military in 1976 I have worked on most of the countries in the world who have needed an helicopter nomad.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Pam Luna, because I always had a solt spot for her.
I am lucky I have 2 great daughters and 2 great stepsons, but have not been good at the married life so I am divorced at this time
I always loved Mrs Fisher I never understood half of the stuff but she was great and also my World History teacher, I have always...Expand for more
had a spot for learning about the world and everything in it.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 50% of it to Veterans, then spend the rest on children, sister and VA Old Sholdiers home.
As all true Military Soldiers we are always the happiest defending and fighting for our country, I would love to be in Irag helping at this time.
My current age is 58. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely dumb.
I do not know what happened to Ann Berringer she was my first love when I was a freshman.
My best friend would tell you I'm loyal, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as hard headed and quite.
I never had a any idea how to dress, my daughters who live with me take care of all that. and God help me if I leave the house not dressed right.
I have never had any weird jobs but I have done a few military jobs.
I share my home with kids, which I find great.
If I had one do over I would have stayed in Vietnam until the end and made sure my childhood friend Doug Woodland came home with me alive. He did not he was also class of 69.
I remember Peter Sorenson and I would hang together as we came from the same neighbor hood. We were both a little geeking in the early days.
