Janice's Story
Life
My husband Larry & I were married in 1973 and we have three children, two girls and a boy. It is July 2014 and we are up to, three grandsons and a granddaughter whom we love to death. The oldest was born 7/11/03, the was born 11/10/2005, the third was born 3/7/2011 and the last one was born 11/30/2013. As of October 27th 2003, I took an early retirement after completing 27 years of employment with the same company. We have been empty nesters since August 2004 which is so nice after having children around for all those years. Our youngest child (son) just got married at the end of August 2006. It was a great wedding. So far, everything in my life is just fine.
School

eighth grades and graduated from there in 1968. My final destination was Roosevelt High School, which I graduated in 1972.
College
I took computer classes at William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, IL. I waited to take colleges classes until I was in my thirties and took classes on a part time basis for 3 years.
Workplace
When I got out of High School, I worked at McDonalds, then got married in April 1973 and started working for Kmart in 1976 after having our two daughters. I started in the automotive department, went to checkouts, service desk, jewelry department, became jewelry department manager, then became receiving manager, went into claims department, became human resource manager and finally went into check recovery department in the Kmart Regional Office. After completing 27 years with Kmart, I took an early retirement as of October 27th 2003.
