Janice's Story
Life
My Spouse --They've listed me under my married name, I was Janice Brandt once..
My husband and I had a real "hospital romance," just like in the soaps. We met while working at the Northport Veteran's Hospital--and we're still working there. We've been married 15 yrs!
My Kids
After 7 yrs of trying (which was fun, but frustrating), My husband, Bruce, and I adopted our beautiul and very intelligent dtr, Mei (say "May"), from China in 1996. She was 9 mths old when she changed our lives forever and for better. In 1999, we went back to China for our equally beautiful and charming...Expand for more
dtr, Amy, who was 6 mth old at the time.
Mei is in 3rd grade and is all ready smarter than me. She is in her schools gifted class and a blue belt in karate. Amy is in 1st grade and is bubbly and full of music. She is a good student and a great gymnist. They were both born of my heart.
My Job
Once very important to me, my quest for a family has made my job low priority. However, I've had excellent opportunities at the Veteran's hosp. And have worked in Medicine, Physical Rehab., Nursing Home and presently work in Psychiatry. Remember it's the Nurse who actually saves your life.
