Janice's Story
Life
Since graduating from SCSU in '89, I've had many held several types of jobs in the corporate world and my favorite one was working in a Mutual Fund firm being Series 7 licensed and working as a Trainer/Developer. I worked closely with the software developers for that supported the Mutual Fund area and it was my job to interpret and transfer their techie knowledge over to the end users.
I loved it...The company I worked for merged so I made the decision to cut back my hours and match it up with my youngest son. Also my oldest son was in High School and I thought it was almost more important to be there for him!
I now work part time at St. Stephen's Catholic Church supporting the Worship department. My youngest son, Parker attends school at their Education Center, while my oldest, Phillip will be graduating from Champlin Park High School this spring.
I have an incredibly wonderful husband who is the Transportation Manager at US Foodservice. We've been married for...Expand for more
13 years.
My hope is that someone from my past reads this bio, and if they feel the need to say hello....I encourage them to do so!
School
Ahhhh...High School...if only I had known that probably the most akward part of growing up would be high school!! I had so much fun while in high school, my biggest regret was that I had to be so right all the time. I wish I would have loosened up and just let things go. I would get mad over the stupidest things and hold onto a grudge forever!! How dumb, dumb, dumb!!
College is where I found my niche. I went to St. Cloud State University and found my "laid back" nature there. Which was proven by being a 3 year freshman. I loved St. Cloud, and I definitely did it right. I worked at the Red Carpet in my early years and partied quite a bit. Towards my junior and senior years I got much more serious, the parties were much different. I ended up with a very close knit group of friends and graduated 6.5 years after I started.
