Janice's Story
Got married during senior year and had my first son a little over a year later. First husband was an Ogden City police officer. After we got divorced, married someone from Florida and got to live in the Florida Keys....nice. Being married to a Navy man, we had the opportunity to live in Scotland for several years and then in South Carolina and Florida again. Orlando was really nice. We were in Charleston SC for quite awhile and I worked at one of the local hospitals until I got my EMT certification. I worked for a private EMS company for a couple of years then went to Charleston County EMS as a paramedic. away. He was a submarine sailor and died at a pretty young age. My two boys and I came back to Ogden a few years later, we missed the mountains. My younger son died in an accident two years after we came back here. I spent several years working for The Ride for Weber Human Services and then a few years at a loan company. I now have a beautiful daughter-in-law and two fantastic grandsons and my son works at Kimberly Clark....I finally retired 2 years ago and now get to just do what I damn well please...as long as I remember to walk the dog and feed the cats, I'm good. It's been really nice to see some of the people from back in the high school days. And it's really sad to see how many we're losing.
