Janice's Story
After high school, I attended NASC as a biology/medical technology major. I did this for a few years before realizing I didn’t want to work in a lab the rest of my life, so I went to McCann for a year to become an LPN and working at NARH then graduated from Southern Vermont College with my RN degree. r Berkshire Visiting Nurses for 20 years then as a clinical manager for 5 years at Amedisys Home Health Care. I finished off my career with Premier Health Care Service as a supervisor before retiring. During those years, I performed as a vocalist with the Berkshire Opera Company and the Berkshire Lyric Theater Company. In retirement, I enjoy continuing my love of doing watercolor art, crafts, and gardening.
