Janice's Story
After I left Mo with my husband in 1963 we moved to Chicago and lived until 1969, both of my daughters were born in Chicago. We then moved to Lake Geneva, WI where we lived until 1973. I divorced and my 2 daughters and I moved to EL Paso. I remarried to a guy stationed at Fort Bliss and was able to travel to Germany and live for several years. We did a lot of traveling to other countries while overseas. We traveled a lot when we got back to the states and lived in several of the different states. I have been in all the states west of the Mississippi except Oregon and North and South Dakota. I have been in all the states South, all the states in the Midwest and now I have to start on the states East. I am now single and living in WI where my 2 daughters live and my 5 granddaughters.and 1 great grandaughter. I work as an office manager in a tax offi...Expand for more
ce and I really like the job. I love to travel to Vegas and go at least once a year. I like to play poker, watch horse racing, go to wine tasting events, fairs, and to water parks. I like to watch the Green Bay Packers and also the Minnesota Vikings. I would really love to live somewhere warm but I also want to be with my family and they love WI so here I am. I don't get back to MO very often. My brother Ken lives in AL and in the Phillipines during the winter, my sister Carolyn lives in LA, and my sister Roxy lives in TX. I don't think they get back to MO much anymore either. Even though I am single at this time I would still like to find Mr. Right (if there is such a thing)(lol) but if it is meant to be it will happen someday. I don't consider myself getting older as I still feel young and I am young at heart and am still on the go any chance I get.
