Life
My name is now Janus Laughingbear Blume. The Profile stuff is hugely lame because the answers are canned, and don't really fit. High school sucked for me because I didn't have the social skills to survive, and tried to find happiness in romance. A mistake I repeated ad nauseum. My major interests were spirituality and performing, in that order, and that has not changed. My children have all turned out to be incredibly spectacular human beings. I mean seriously spectacular.I married Mike McCauley in 1969. He lived across Cedar Ave. from me, and we met working at Woolworth's downtown. Our daughter, Sharon Krystal was born in 1970. daughter, Robynne, born in 1989, and learning to drive. She got a 5 (Highest score there is, and in the top 11%)on her AP World History exam. Yay, mid-life parenting!I am now a proud Pagan and priestess of the Goddess. I have been giving workshops on Mary Magdalene, Holy Grail and lost goddess, since 2001--two years before the DaVinci code came out. I pick up a few nickles here and ther with my ministerial credentials through handfastings (Pagan weddings), memorials, teaching, workshops, Tarot readings, etc. For bill-paying money, I run the counseling office at
Cabrillo College in Aptos. I am so lucky to live in Santa Cruz, that
I don't really care if I can't buy a house here. Life is very hard
sometimes, but also very good. I hope I can lose weight before the reunion!
