Janice's Story

Life Well now that my kids are all gone, it truely feals like I have been released from prison, after 30 years of parenting. My stepdaughter, Angela is getting married at the end of April, and Spring training is staring for Jr. in early March/ My baby Ali is still at UCLA, and getting ready for another run at the National title in Vollleyball. They lost in the final four last year, really quite exciting, but she and her teamates were very disappointed. Mrs Biondo would have been proud, she was not a good losser, something she use to tell us, (if anyone remembers) there is no good thing as a good loser. Anyway my oldest Kacy, just had our third grandchild, he lives in San Luis Obispo, and is doing pertty good for having a shakey start at life. Life without kids is different, to say the least, but very excited to get on with the next half... Jamey and I our doing a road trip to Florida for Spring Training to see Jr play. Doesn't that sound like old times/// Well I hope all that read this are doing well, life is to short not to be having some fun still. Will post Road Trip Pictures. Janice League Daley Okay So I didn't post any pictures from the road trip. Jumping to 2008, time is a moving, still having fun, last year of College for Gator, already been to Hawaii, and Chicago this year to watch her play.Went back to watch Junior play in the minors, pretty fun, wen tby myself, felt pretty much like an old lady in Florida, around all those young kids, but hey one thing about Florida, there our p...Expand for more
eople a lot older than me there and who drive way worse.Hope everyone is doing well and cannot wait top see everybody in October of 2009. It will be so much fun. Wow it is already 2009, Ali is now playing professional volleyball in Peurto Rico..Just got back from a great vacation from a small town called Rincon, situated on the West side of Puerto Rico where she is living. It is a small surf type town, awesome is all I can say, she plays for Las Cribes, and the season goes for about 4 months, she gets a condo on the carribean, car, and gets paid to play her favorite sport. Spring Training has started and Junior has not hit anyone yet.. Another great thing,. Economic recession is taking its toll on us but I think we will muddle through. Hope everyone else can get through it as well if it is effecting them. Cannot wait to see everyone at the reunion, October 3. But I have to say the diet might kill me before I get there. Jamey Butler, Kathy Salem are going to come with... Must say getting ready for another season of baseball.Jr has finally made to double A, Ali is now a professional volleyball player, and finishing up at UCLA. The econmy is still taking it's toll on my husband and me but we are managing to survive.lol The reunion was great, saw so many people that I had such fon memories of... Hope everyone has a great 2010, that we all remember we have such a great father in the Lord, and that love, happiness, and kindness is key. God Bless and be good everone...Well at least try...lol
