Janice's Story
Life
After high school, I worked for an engineering firm. In the late 80's I got married, moved with my then husband to Illinois and after two years, ended up getting divorced. Newly single, I decided to move to Chicago, which is when my life really began. I met some great people, enjoyed Chicago's lakefront as well as the great single social scene. live in a home in a great Chicago neighborhood. If anyone had told me that I would have ended up in Chicago, I would have laughed and told them that I would never live in a city that cold or windy. But, after living here for so many years, I can't imagine living any where else. To borrow a phrase from John Lennon, "Life is what happens when you are making other plans." Thank God that my life took so many unexpected turns or I may not have ended up married to such a great man and mother to the two most beautiful boys in the world.
