Janice's Story
Since high school a lot has happened. In 1974 just a couple months after graduating from Wheaton High School, I began working at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. Most of my time there was spent working as a Lab Technician in Diabetes Research.
In 1981 I met my soul mate and future husband, Ben Young. We were married in 1983 and have three daughters. Sarah is now 29, married for 7 years to Robert Martin and they are the parents of Olive and Fox. Jennifer, now 26 has been married 3 years to Doug Pinckney. Our youngest, Anna Catherine is 22 and lives at home.
After being a stay at home mom for 15 years, I re-entered the work force part time, returning to my job at NIH for four more years. During my 4th year at NIH, I also began working part time at the Christian school my kid...Expand for more
s attended in Gaithersburg. After 5 years there, I took a position at Llewellyn Realtors in Rockville, MD as their full time Relocation Director. After two years and getting my real estate license, I transitioned into sales. I have been an active agent for the past three years on the Mike Patton Team. Recently, Llewellyn was sold to Long & Foster, so as of the end of June I am now a Long & Foster agent. My husband and I founded our own real estate investment company called Timberleigh Group. We buy, rehab, and sell residential and multi-family properties.
