Janice's Story
After living in Santa Cruz for more than 20 years, my husband, Russ and I sold our home, our business, packed up the car and moved to South Florida. No more fog rolling in, no more drizzily rain, we now have only two seasons, warm and hurricane.

she wants to become a surgical tech. Our granddaughters are 8 and 10, the youngest wants to be an artist, is very talented, she has already had some of her work at a gallery in Jupiter, the older girl want to be a Marine biologist. They both make my heart happy.
One of my very favorite things to do since moving here is to drive the hour up to Space Coast and watch the shuttles take off from Cape Canaveral.
Each and every time I am awe struck and amazed at the sight of that much power. I also love when friends are passing through or who actually come to Florida on vacation call, and we are are able to meet somewhere for dinner.
The one thing I do miss about California, is seeing my sister and her family and the dear friends that we left behind. Our visits now are too few and far between.
