My story so far… First of all, I’d be very surprised if many of you even remember me. In high school I was a plain, shy girl who knew nothing about makeup and clothes and never had a boyfriend. Most of my junior high school friends had gone on to Everett High School, so I didn't really know anyone at Cascade. Once I graduated, I finally sprouted my wings and flew away from the very protective environment I was raised in. Literally and figuratively. While working at Boeing, a co-worker suggested I join the USO. I met my husband, Steve, at a dance at Fort Lewis, and we married and moved to Germany (Army). Short-lived. Divorced 2 years later. Moved back to San Diego, married my second husband, and moved to Dallas, Texas, where I had my son, Brad. Fifty years later, I got a friends request on Facebook from Steve. After having NO communication since 1968, we remarried in 2017, and lived in Corvallis, Oregon. What can I say; we were young and stupid. We know that now.
